Tuesday. Yesterday - Sam and I scurried over to IKEA and spent a few hours there wandering around, shopping for ideas and trinkets for our home. I love IKEA. I love the simplicity of their products and the cheaposity of it all as well :) I also love that kids eat free there on Tuesdays (every Tuesday). I found this out by Sam and I going up to the food court and needing a snack. The guy serving us claimed, "You know he eats entirely free today right?" I almost started crying. Not really, but I was ecstatic at the thought. It was great spending a cheap, fun day shopping with my baby. He really did awesome, too. He loves watching people as he sits in the cart.
Simplicity. I have made it my goal to simplify matters that need not be complicated. There are some things in life that are naturally complicated and need that kind of attention. But, simplicity comes with the majority of life's day-to-day business - you just have to focus on it.
I've come to find that out lately. I stress and my anxiety flares up way too easy; I have to focus on the simple things and it helps.
Thank you IKEA. Thank you for my new rug and free meal. And, thank you for your simplicity.
