I am way late posting this, but I wanted to still. Over Memorial Day Weekend (Friday-Sunday) Rob and his Oly buddies Pat & Spencer went backpacking in Coyote Gulch in Escalate, Utah. It sounded like they had a blast, but were definitely ready to come home Sunday Night. It was weird being at home alone at night, but interestingly enough, I slept fine...once I got to sleep.
Rob took some really good pictures that I thought I would post because the rock formation and the colors are so beautiful!

On Memorial Day, the Holfeltz family has a tradition of visiting graves in the morning. This is Lynn's (Rob's Mom) grave. She passed away when Rob was 9-years-old. It's always nice to visit this cemetery where she's buried. It's really secluded and quiet. It's a smaller cemetery and gives one time to reflect. I wish I could have known Lynn. From what I've heard and seen (in family videos) she seems like a really awesome lady.
Later that day, we got together with Rob's Oly buddies and their families. It was really fun. Pat and Jamie really know how to throw a shin-dig together :)
Later that Memorial Day week, we went to see the movie Robin Hood with Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett - two of my favorite actors. It was an awesome movie. I love action movies like this and thank heavens it was PG-13. I was going to be so disappointed if it was given an R because I wanted to see it soo bad! It's loaded with over 2 hours of awesome story-telling and action. The only actor who I thought could do a better job was Matthew Macfadyen who plays the Sheriff of Nottingham. He did a good job at his part, however, I can't get him out of my mind as Darcy in the Kiera Knightly rendition of 'Pride & Prejudice'. He was so good in that movie that I couldn't believe him as the poser Sheriff of Nottingham. It's definitely a testosterone movie which I normally like, but this time I loved - probably because I have a little testosterone-filled boy inside me. I loved it!
One more bit of info: We (and probably my Gardner cousins) are so freakin excited about BSU now playing in the Mountain West Conference!
