Sweat It Out

No, I am not doing a Zumba class.  But, if I did - Jim Carey in a Tutu is what I would look like.  That's why I never have liked working out...#1 - because I have a short attention span and lose my drive after 5 minutes unless otherwise occupied and #2 - I don't like people being able to look at me while I'm sweating and almost hyperventilating...

So, when a friend at work told me about Gold's Gym Cardio Cinema Room, I was intrigued.  I checked it out and became a member for only $10 a month, no contract.  Yep.  I've been a handful of times and love it!  I get to watch movies while I do my cardio (mostly on the elipticle).  Rob is joining me tonight which is fun because I can't remember the last time we worked out together...if ever :(

Yep, get ready Anger, Agression, and Frustration....we are going to sweat it out!

Autumn on The Rocks, Please

The mornings and nights are getting crisper?  Can you feel it?  It's that feeling of change that I crave every year.  I wore a jacket to work this morning.  It felt so cozy and comfy!  Call me nostalgic, I am.  I can also be a little mellow-dramatic at times; but when it comes to Autumn, it's alright.  Right now I'm listening to George Winston's Album entitled, "Autumn" - it's awesome...if you like piano music.

Ok, so I am sucking it up in Fantasy Football.  Secretly, I knew I would because I knew I wouldn't have time and go online each week.  Yep.  Sucking it up.  It was fun at the beginning to talk smack to all the guys before the season started, though!

Sam is turning 2 in a month!  I can't believe it!  It is so crazy that I have an almost 2-year-old!  Sometimes he seems older, and then he seems younger because he's my baby.

Rob got his bottom wisdom teeth taken out last Friday and he is only now returning back to his original - relatively pain-free self.  He couldn't take any of the Loratab or even IB profen at first because it was making him sick (he is such a light-weight when it comes to meds).  Now, he can take a few IB profen a day without making him sick...but, the pain isn't as bad, so that is good.

I just got hired  part-time with the therapist I have been interning for up in Bountiful to help with his office management.  I am excited that I'll be getting paid and working in my field of study!
