This is my favorite flower. The Calla Lily is so beautiful! They grow wild in California. This is one I found on the cliffs of Wilder Ranch off Highway 1 just north of Santa Cruz.

Bella (yes, I named the house) is my favorite house off West Cliff Drive in Santa Cruz. I love the color, shape, size and definitely location! This is my dream home. Well, my escape dream home. If I was a bazillionaire I would buy this house as my winter getaway. I want to live in Salt Lake - this would just give me options. :)

"Seagulls? Who said anything about seagulls?"

Yes, this was one of my favorite experiences. In 2006, I began working for a geotechnical engineering firm (not my major, it just pays bills). The firm did the foundation reconaissance and designed the footings for the State Capitol building which re-opened this last year. I was able to go on a tour of the whole Capitol and see everything! This picture was taken after climbing up 300 feet on rickety scaffolding. Do you know those seagulls that are painted on the cealing of the capitol? Well, I'm touching one. I had to climb all the way up to the top on what felt like tinfoil taped together. I thought I was going to throw up, but I didn't and I made it without dying! I have a pretty cool story to tell!

It had just hailed in May 2006. I love the look of hail and this time it waited for me to take a picture before it started melting!

Superman ice cream is my favorite flavor of ice cream. Let's just say, this sunset made my mouth water!
